Fort Collins SEO was the phrase we wanted to be listed for in Google. We’ve never really done anything to promote that particular phase so I figured we’d have our work cut out. Red Rocket’s site wasn’t even listed in the top 100 listings when you searched for “Fort Collins SEO” as of 10:00 a.m. this morning. So this morning around 11:00 a.m I began blogging about SEO in Fort Collins for the first time. Within 2 hours that blog post was listed on the bottom of page 1 of Google. I was pretty amazed, considering that SEO in general is a very competitive term. You’d think that all of the SEO companies in Fort Collins would be competing for the top spot and that it would be pretty tough to penetrate. Obviously not. So I wrote a blog post commenting on the initial success entitled “SEO Fort Collins: 2 Hours to the First Page.” That was around 1:00 p.m.
Okay, so maybe I was gloating. Gloating or not, now that second blog post about SEO in Fort Collins is ranked #4 above all the other local companies. In fact, the only ones above Red Rocket are national companies that offer professional pages like LinkedIn. I’m pretty sure we can get listed above them with a little more effort.
