Red Rocket Bats for Charity

Windsor, Colo. – When you think about summer sports, you probably think about nine people, three bases, some bats and one diamond. Summer usually means ballparks packed with eager participants for one of America’s favorite pass-times: Baseball.

But, for people who may not want to compete in a fastball league, there’s the slow-pitch alternative, softball.

Last summer, the Security Title Guaranty Co. hosted a charity softball tournament that brought out four teams of competing businesses all with the aim to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

One of those businesses competing for bragging rights was Red Rocket Media, an even sponsor for two years in a row. Red Rocket won all but the final game they competed in.

Red Rocket did not just come to play, but they also created the logo, identity and marketing materials to solicit sponsors and generate interest in the public event.

Wish Upon a Diamond is a group of northern Colorado citizens, primarily employed by Security Title Guaranty CO., that aids the fundraising efforts of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado, according to the Web site.
