A couple days ago, Whitney wrote a post about Niche Marketing.  Just a couple points to add to her wonderful insight…

People come to the Web looking for very specific information.  Don’t you do that?  So, generally speaking, the more focused your site is, the higher the liklihood of your site’s success.  Websites that are very narrow, but deep with rich information are the ones that rise to the top of the Google search results pages.  Broad-topic sites that are shallow, are the ones that fall to the bottom of the results and generally fail.
