Don’t roll up like a hedgehog and wait it out.  Those businesses will go under if this bad economy lasts more than a couple months.  As soon as cash reserves dry up, businesses will close.  Only those who are willing to fight are going to survive.  Vow to do everything you can to survive.  Don’t cave in.  As long as you’re strong, you’ll make it through.

Remember that once the dust settles, the businesses that are left will be the strong ones and all of the others will disappear.  Imagine being one of the few companies left to service all of those customers.  Imagine how successful you’ll be when all of the competition is gone.

You’ll have to be tough.  Do you have what it takes, or are you going to be one of the companies that disappears?  I sure hope that you’re dedicated and are willing to withstand the bad times.  But don’t let me scare you.  The last thing I want to do is feed the fear that the media is cramming down our throats.  Do you realize that the fears that we have rarely come true?  Our minds always over-exaggerate the pain and nine times out of ten, things turn out better than we anticipated.  So be brave.  Be vigilant so you’re not caught off guard.  But remember, others will go out of business just because they’re scared.  Now that you know that most of the worries are unfounded, take advantage of it, and work hard to come out on top.  Just remember to fight for your business in this bad economy and don’t roll up in a ball like a hedgehog.

To your continued success.
