I love seeing really cool web design. It spurs me on to try harder and to believe that there are clients out there who do value good web design. So over the next few weeks I’m going to highlight 10 super cool web sites. The one common thread between all of these sites is of course good web design but there are other things as well which I will highlight. First up:

One of the things that makes this sight so cool in my eyes is that it takes something as ‘boring,’ so to speak, as security and makes it fresh. Even though it uses blue as the primary backdrop, it does so in a way that doesn’t overwhelm. Simple animation. Clearly defined user flow. Calls to action. Good font pairings. Sparing use of drop downs with nice internal navigation once you drill in to the page.
